Ruby Tuesday Restaurant

Ruby Tuesday invests millions of dollars in performance training annually; more than anyone else in the industry. We view this investment in our people as a number one priority for operational success. Our award-winning Quality Training department has been internationally recognized, by the American Society for Training and Development, and was presented with the 2006 BEST Award for our devotion to top-box instructional design and holistic approach to learning. Our in-house Quality Training team touches every single initiative implemented in our restaurants.

WOW-U®

We are as dedicated to the personal and professional growth of every team member as we are to the freshness and quality of our food and beverages. Our goal is to ensure that Ruby Tuesday is a fun place to work as well as a fun place to learn and grow, by providing gracious hospitality while supporting our team members, managers and multi-restaurant operators in achieving their goals.

The WOW-U® campus, which is located at the company's headquarters, in Maryville, Tennessee, consists of eight fully-equipped classrooms, video/technical support, a training restaurant, and a complete culinary center; all of which are specifically designed for hands-on instruction. WOW-U® provides a unique and inspiring learning environment for over 4,000 managers and multi-restaurant operators each year.

Ruby Tuesday Culinary Arts Center

The Ruby Tuesday Culinary Arts Center was designed to maximize hands-on culinary training for our managers and multi-restaurant operators. The layout of this special classroom provides multiple learning stations, all of which incorporate the actual equipment and supplies that would be found in a Ruby Tuesday restaurant. Through our Masters Training Program at the Culinary Arts Center, we ensure consistent execution through hands-on training of every team member at all levels of operations.

Ruby Tuesday Lodge™

After working hard at WOW-U® and in the Culinary Arts Center, managers and multi-restaurant operators stay at the Ruby Tuesday Lodge™, where they are pampered, served four-star meals, and learn the true meaning of quality experience and gracious hospitality. The tranquil, wooded retreat is located in the peaceful setting just twenty minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Here, guests relax and share ideas and best practices, while continuing to build Ruby Tuesday's culture of Quality, Passion and Pride with their teammates and company leadership after a day of classes at WOW-U®.

The interior of the Walker House, the main home on the property, exudes warmth and luxury, and was recently restored to maintain the original architecture of the 1930's design. Large screen televisions, comfortable seating, and fireplaces are located in each of the three main gathering rooms. The RT Lodge™ offers many activities. Our Teams can have fun with a friendly game of basketball or volleyball; stroll, jog, or bicycle through the calming woods; or unwind with a game of chess or billiards. Surrounded by a comforting and fun-filled atmosphere, our teams can participate in a variety of activities designed to revitalize both mind and body during their visit.
